Position Objective

Responsible to develop, enhance, and
maintain application in line with the business requirement, regulation and
future development plan.

Principal
Ongoing Responsibilities

1.    Discuss with Team Leader / System Analyst to get an understanding of
the requirement.

2.    Involve in analyzing and designing programs under coordination and
supervision by Team Leader / System Analyst.

3.    Prepare Program Specification document under coordination and
supervision by Team Leader / System Analyst.

4.    Assess the program development effort and submit it to his/her
Functional superior.

5.    Coding the program based on the approved Program Specification document
and by using the standard Programming procedure.

6.    Prepare test plan and test script.

7.    Perform system test based on the test plan and test script to ensure
that the program meets the requirement

8.    Coordinate with internal QA for System Integration Test (SIT).

9.    Prepare deployment plan including the fall back procedure.

10.  Continuosly maintain the application program to ensure the system
comply with mandatory changes (application changes, regulation, upgrade
release) under coordination and supervision by Team Leader / System Analyst.

11. 
Analyze
reported problems and identify the root cause, then provide solution and
assess the effort to fix the problems.

Authority

1.    Define program logic, variables, working
file and database structure which meet the system design and standard
procedure.

2.    Find technical solution and apply it
in the program/application as long as it is still in line with the approved
system design and standard procedure.

3.    Escalate to his/her superior for any
issue which excesses the agreed SLA.

Ideal
Position Qualification

1.    Bachelor degree of Computer
Science/ Information System or equivalent discipline from reputable
university

2.    Strong understanding of
software engineering

3.    Having knowledge of Object
Oriented

4.    Possess programming
experience especially in Java J2EE and Strusts, JSP, EJB, JDBC.

5.    Understand system
development life cycle and programming methodologies include programming
techniques, programming tools.

6.    Extensive knowledge of Information
Technology (N-Tiers Architecture)

7.    Team work orientation

process-oriented

9.    Able to communicate in
English.
